Lacquerware is made of wood and lacquer. Since both of them are refined natural materials, you may have to take a little more care in handling them. However maintenance is easier than you think and definitely worth your while. With proper care and maintenance, they can last many lifetimes.
*How to wash
Do not use in a dishwasher. Please wash by hand. For products like snack containers, tea plates and saucers that normally don't get as dirty, simply rinse with warm water without any detergent, and then dry them with a soft cloth.
*How to remove grease stain or oil spot
Wash with normal dish detergent using a soft cloth or sponge.
*How to remove food crud stuck to surface
Soak in lukewarm water for a few minutes and wash with a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
*How to store
Store in shaded area away from direct sunlight to preserve the natural coloring of the lacquerware.
